New Novel Shares a Young Man’s Triumphant Story
Author Tony Bond delivers a story to inspire readers’ self-confidence
VAN NUYS, Calif. – Speaking about the overall theme of his new book Il Mondo: One Man’s World (published by AuthorHouse), Tony Bond says, “Rely on your own strength of character, mind and soul.” It is this message he hopes to convey to readers of his new, inspiring novel.
Bill Singer, a young boy bestowed with a mysterious gift, attempts to escape from his past marred with tragedy, murder, abuse and family ignominies. In his quest to erase the memory of his pain and the people who inflicted it, his self-confidence and courage are shaken.
Bill’s story is diverse, interlaced with foreboding and bliss, and it will take him from the horrific clutches of abuse to the dazzling spotlights of the celebrity world. It is a tale of survival and the human spirit as Bill attempts to prevail through a test of fire.
“Il Mondo describes the stormy current of life events of which the weights or floats which at one time make us glide along the bottom, and at another upholds us on the surface,” says Bond. He believes that through adversity, people find their strength to triumph.
Bond goes on to describe what he would like readers to take away from his book, saying, “Life has no smooth road for any of us; and in the bracing intent of a high aim the very roughness encourages the climber to firmer steps, till the legend, over steep ways to the stars, fulfills itself.”
